  • I LOVE THOSE FISH!!! the black moor is a fair size!! Would you say this type of Goldfish is appropriate for a biOrb 60 (one much smaller than you have)? Thanks :)

  • @MRKD90 Thank you :) And yes, absolutely, a Biorb 60 holds 16 gallons and our tank is only 20 so the difference isn't that great. My understanding is that they only grow to the size of the tank. If you regulate feeding properly (not overfeeding, like we have done by not knowing better) getting fantails is an excellent idea.

  • SO cute! I'm getting a bigger fish tank soon with big fantails like these guys :) at the moment I got one small fantail but he is really fat lol i don't even over feed him.. He was just born with a fat tummy :D

  • @KasabianQueen Thanks for the comment! Best of luck with your little guys :)

  • @KasabianQueen Maybe that he is a she! The females usually have a bigger abdomen, so... Best of luck with your fantails. :)

  • I can't imagine what I would do if my black moor got that big - LOL! You should join Koko's Goldfish Forum, they would love to see your babies!

  • @CMB7 Thanks again for the comment! I'll mention the forum to my wife since it's her love and attention that got them where they are, lol.

  • @CoriolisAffectment Thankyou! yours are very beautiful <3

  • These guys are so cute. I like the way the roll on the bottom of the tank. I put a plant in my tank and now they chase each other around and around it. Wish I could get that on video. I just posted them sleeping.

  • @CMB7 Hmm, that's something to consider -- but space and costs might preclude that, however it is something that we'll keep in mind. The filtration we have now is quite adequate what with the canister rated to 75 gallons coupled with the canopy filter as well... And thanks for the thought. Yang(the black moor) is pretty big!
