  • I hate sparrowhawks.. i got pigeons.... my brother and me alwasy see them around my area :( i dont want my peigions to die...

  • Dont hate sparrowhawks. I have pigeons too and I dont want my pigeons to die too, but that is the way how nature works.

  • wait i have some questions...i have 2 pigeons ones white and ones the one u always see-the gray one. and i think the white one is about to lay eggs. and i dont know how to take care of them!!!!! also, wat is pigeon racing? and wat is grit?

  • What is grit? Grit contains gastric grinding stones, silex-stones, oyster shells, sea shells, redstone and charcoal. Grit Ensures an optimal digestion and produces solid droppings. It is very important for pigeons health.

I hope that this was helpfull.

  • What is pigeon racing? Pigeon racing is a sport, it is like horse or greyhund racing. We take our pigeons and put them in baskets, and then we release them away from home. It can be from 5 km to 1300 km, and they have to go home as fast as they can. But that is not so simple, you have to prepare your pigeons for every flight. They have to be fit and strong and many times lucky if they want to return home. If you wish to find out more about this sport I will help you.

  • If she is going to lay eggs, you can put some hay or something else that is soft and do not collect moisture. When she lays both eggs you will have to wait 17 or 18 days for youngsters to hatch. Regulary change their water and keep them in a dry place. When they hatch you must watch youngsters everyday to be sure that they are growing well.

  • mad

  • You guys are all pretty gay lol pigeons

  • @azargirl we pigeon fanciers spend a lot of money for our birds and our loft's and we are not happy when one one of our best youngbirds/breeders get eaten by a hawk we dont have unlimited money and even if we did we would not be happy to loose birds because we love them

  • @iron38 wow you make no sense

  • @vidaminfeeder2 Yes, meat eaters are important to nature.

  • @iron38 HEY THAT NOT HOW NATURE WORKS THATS HOW MEAT EATERS WORK

  • @mazhaz5 that's a peregrine, not a sparrowhawk.

  • So sad...

  • that peregrine couldn't even catch up with that squeaker at 1.25. how sad.

  • That was amazing how you caught it on video, and sad too for the pidgeons but I guess that is part of surviving in the wild.
