Ohio Citizen Action released the video "Coal Ash in Ohio" to highlight the problems and risks of toxic coal ash waste in Ohio. Coal ash waste is disposed in wet ponds and landfills, and reused in many everyday consumer products. The federal USEPA is currently in a comment period about proposed coal ash regulations that ends November 19, 2010.
Comment for Subtitle C which would make Coal Ash a hazardous waste and federally regulated. They should dispose of poisonous waste in a responsible manner.

Nice video, for more about coal ash impoundment failures, search for "TVA coal ash" to see some stunning footage of the Dec 2008 coal ash disaster in Kingston TN - over 1 billion gallons of coal ash went into the Clinch and Emory Rivers (Chattanooga's drinking water supply) when the dam around a 65 foot high TVA impoundment failed in the middle of the night.
