I find I have trouble really enjoying listening to songs others have sang, that I heard him sing first. There is something in the quality of his voice that is just powerful, not loud but strong, with the ability to hold, rise or fall as naturally as breathing. Unlike others I've seen he doesn't strain his face or move awkwardly he just sings, its what he was meant to do and it's truly amazing to watch.

Fabulous. Not only great chazzanus, but he uses his instrument well- no oversinging, no screaming, no beating on his throat to get the cantorial special affectations. the sound is a little thinner and perhaps a little reedier than I I would really prefer, but it is nevertheless beautiful.
