Brazilian Hereford & Braford - High Quality Genetics to the Word

The Brazilian Hereford & Braford - BHB arises from a partnership with APEX-Brazil (www.apexbrasil.com.br) to become another major landmark in the history of the Brazilian Hereford and Braford Association (ABHB). The entity and a group of 21 rural companies participating in the project are now entering the international genetics and quality beef market, seeking to relieve the shortage of other nations in the primary and food sector.

The ABHB (www.abhb.com.br) has long ceased to be a mere record file and now provides both the breeder and member the opportunity to add economic value to its breeding center by means of this partnership through the exportation and dissemination of Hereford & Braford genetics to nearby countries already familiar with such genetics as a result of the precocity and quality of their meat, such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile and Ecuador, and other not so nearby countries such as United States, Canada, Russia and China.

The BHB (www.bhb.org.br) is a very important step by this association in the search for new markets and economic avenues for those who breed and select Hereford and Braford breeds in Brazil. These are new avenues that are opened so that the whole may have the pleasure of seeing the rusticity and genetic quality of the white-faced cattle on the field.
