  • Das ist ein Profi, Respekt

  • Nice Log!

  • @MrMeanderthal Yea, south east alaska and the coastal cascades are flat lol. and the lay corresponds directly with the timber size Id say ?

  • @o56kid yes, well I fell timber on the coast of BC, Vancouver Island, and the Queen Charlotte Islands for over 20 years.. I fell clear cut, selective, right of way, corridor, and single stem for heli-logging.. as far as my experience goes it's the lay of the ground not the size of the wood that separates the men from the boys and our certification system reflects this..

  • @MrMeanderthal that last comment shows your ignorance. the bigger the timber the more difficult it is to fall and save out. Im a faller, I would know I think. . . Dont forget that south east Alaska is up there with all your BC logs. . .

  • @o56kid the size of the timber has little to nothing to do with it an even if it did, the greatest amount of large old growth timber is logged in BC..

  • @MrMeanderthal haha, so just because they are canadians they are better fallers? they have more rules to abide by, but my guess is that the best fallers on the earth are somewhere in northern California. When you are falling the largest trees in the world, you tend to be good at it. . .

  • great! over 6 minutes to fall a tree that should take no more than one minute to fall

  • @o56kid no, Americans are not the best fallers.. Canadians working in British Columbia are and by a good measure..

  • @forednz he is showing the way that most people are taught i had to do the same thing to pass my chainsaw certifcates normally when u do what he is doing is when you have a smaller bar he could either 2 cut or bore cut withour removing butresses peace out from the UK =]
