Canerods can be built with hand tools. The major tool is a planing form. There are resources on the web to purchase or build a form. A lathe is handy for turning cork grips, but not necessary if you buy preformed cork grips. Hand planes are the primary tool and knowledge of how to use and sharpen them is a must.

  • Questions were posted, where are the answers,

how can we get your dvd? where can we get materials. can't sell anything without having a product to sell.

  • whats the rule of thumb for the length of the planning form?

i called a machine shop local and the guy told me he has plenty of scrap metal to make me one for dirt cheap. i see the ones they sell out there and just for the 60* degree the want so much money. is the mark up over rated?
