no wonder it caught fire, look at the cluster f u ck of wiring you have behind the area catching fire. lol

You suppose to unplug the water cooling tube and then spary water at the fire spot.

This happened to my P8P67 last week. Newegg would not take it. Said it was "user damage." All I did was boot up my computer after I had just got it built 12 hrs earlier.. I doubt ASUS will take it back either. :(
Try logging a fault direct with Asus, thats what I did, it might take a bit of time but I think they take bursting in to flames quite seriously as a the head of their UK support got back to me. They replaced mine with an upgraded model free of charge :)

My Asus P8P67 caught on fire yesterday, going to have to take it back and get it replaced :( It caught on fire near the RAM slots and wasn't long after I pressed the MEM-OK button, because the red light was on!

@games4850 Try dropping Asus a support ticket, it took them a week or two but they got back to me. They we're pretty good and gave me an upgrade as a replacement.

@ausage3 yep sounds like they have a fault with boards around the voltage regulation circuits and components
