Another match with the Mythic deck (from last week actually... same batch as before). Opponent is a roguish R/W control deck.

  • Why even show him Jace and the Titan? No combination of plays you had seemed like they could have saved you, though I'm not familiar enough with your list to know if there was anything Jace could have dug up for you, considering Koth could just go online for the final damage if he somehow couldn't send a mountain at you.

  • @TheFodderBoy

I was actually thinking that at the time. Probably should have just packed it in.

  • Don't beat yourself up. I haven't heard of a viable RW planeswalker deck. Most RW decks aren't running DoJ, Playing a little greedy when you don't know what to expect is probably correct. Since he could have had anything playing around DoJ was probably not aggressive enough.

  • I'll be honest, i prob would have not thought about day and played the titan to kill the koth. But having thought about it, colinade attack is a pretty risk free way to clear his board when he's tapped out .

So basically, yes same mistake as you, but its understandable when faced with an unknown deck.

  • Definitely would have killed Koth.

  • why don't you upload games where you lose?

they might be interesting too, you know

  • Is there a decklist somewhere?

  • Hey Mike, what lands are you using?
