Join Marcus Conyers live from the Orlando Science Center as he shares information many teachers have found useful for developing effective instructional strategies. In this series, the video seeks to enable educators to better understand exciting research from the fields of psychology, education, and the cognitive sciences, as well as implications from educational neuroscience. Conyers discusses important work from the National Research Council, which suggests that learning may change the physical structure of the brain. The key role of educators is emphasized as he explains how effective teachers use a broad range of instructional strategies to help a classroom of individual students create connections when learning.
