A couple things I noticed:
1. Who leaves a safe in an open room not bolted to a floor?
2. They used the word "investment" all wrong. The true definintion of an investment is something that puts money in your pocket. Safes, or in this case Resenditial Security Containers", don't put money in your pocket. Just like houses don't put money in your pocket. Hence, a safe or RSC is NOT an investment.

I am in the market for a gun safe and this video is definitely informative to the new buyer.

Fort Knox builds crap just like Liberty does. Both companies also build a high end product that is secure as well.

They showed that a $1500 safe doesn't offer much protection not bolted down. That's not even the safe from Home Depot or Walmart. They want you buy a $2500+ safe. But I would like to see how a $2500 compares to a $1500 safe.
With more manufacturers competing in their sacred $2500 market, they are upset.
There's no standardization of protection. You don't really know what you are going to get for less than $2500.
Made in the USA doesn't mean a lot to me...just take GM and Chrysler as example.

Ive got a "Cheaper" safe. First off you will never find it. Plus you would have to get past my custom home security system, which I installed when I was doing it for a living. And wow they sure were making alot of noise.....if they get to my safe they better hope and pray i dont wake up...

Investment [1] is the active redirection of resources/assets to creating benefits in the future. So no, they did not use it wrong.

hats a good way for liberty to sell their top end models.

Fort Knox safes are better.

On dial safes people make a common mistake by turning the a little when there done so it leaves one more combination to solve plus you can feel where the other two are lined up. there for all you got to o is find the thir combination between two points. Thats if you live with the 75% of people that o that. Usaully takes around 20 secons to break open. I did that to one of my friends an i commented him on his 9mm when he woke up! funny stuff. Remember to completely turn the dail one full turn. TY

A glass relock only prevents the lock bolts from retacking. These guys are prior the weak door and bypassing everything.

If you sell your hosue for more than you paid for it, was that not an investment?
If someone tries to pry your safe open and fails, does that not keep your valuables safe or money in your pocket?

1. on the tv show 'it takes a thief' ive seen it a hole lot.
2. agreed.
This video is staged poorly, they could have at least used better editing when they attempted to fade out the bolts on the bottom of the safe that would have stopped the door from being pried. If I was a maker of one of the safes that they showed the brand name of I would be after them for associating me with deceptive marketing.

Safe did not have top and bottom bolts. The safe in video is a Liberty Centurion. Liberty knows about the video, and has release a statement saying to there dealers to use it to up sell to higher end models.
