Installed in 2010, Replaced c. 1958 Otis units that were single file, and always braking down. These escalators are BEAUTIFUL, and run VERY smoothly :) surprising for a Schindler job :P

  • Why did they replace the vintage 1958 Otis escalators? Were there anything wrong with the previous ones? These new ones work a lot better than the old ones.

  • @mariokart8715 IDK, they ran fine I thought

  • I prefer the 7624's

  • i think it's cool that there are elevator enthusiasts

I don't understand it, but i'll be damned if it isn't comforting in it's own special way

  • Forever 21 in Mall St. Matthews has the new Schindler plate; it has been open since January in 2011. Seeing the new plate is better than the one we've been stuck with forever.

  • 9300AE, not 9300A

  • My Dick's Sporting Goods has the New Schindler plate although it has been open before Sept. 2009. I have to say, seing the new plate is better than seing the one we've been stuck with forever.

  • Maybe Schindler does good on escalators, rather than elevators.

  • I like their new logo on the comb plate.
