  • @aferg76 Ok, first of all, if your going to make an argument, you should avoid a few things, 3 of which you just did. 1.) Don't reply to my comment after a year of it being posted, in an attempt to make me appear ignorant, it just makes you look stupid. 2) When you call someone else an idiot, use proper grammar in doing so or it just bites you in the ass. 3) I'm in the Navy, if your going to try and tell me that the military supports its country incorrectly, your just a moron.

  • wait, so why wasn't his hand on his heart when they were singing...?

  • @BoyScout464 fantastic point. it is just as important

  • Does anyone else find it just as bad that he didn't put his hand over his heart for the National Anthem?

  • @dartanyon44

And here I thought conservatives hated individual mandates. :)

  • to continue... not pleading lol.. but pledging.. and with the Pledge of Allegiance... hand over the heart wasn't always done.. it was hands at side and when you said "the flag" you raised your hand outward to the flag... just before WW2 this was considered to much like a fascist salute and hence hand over the heart.. This is when the flag code was adopted,(1942) so, must have been doing it wrong all you folks(99%) in the 50s, 60's, 70's into the 80's... I prefer no hand but fly the flag often.

  • ok, folks... hmmm let's see... In the 60's and 70's and for most in the 80's and until 9/11 very few put their hand over their heart during the anthem. Stand to attention and face the flag was appropriate, and for me I think still is..It was a hero of mine, Ronald Reagan, that help popularize this. Though, apparently in the flag code it says to. Of course if a civilian is wearing a hat, you remove it and place it at your shoulder... For me the code is incorrect, hand over heart when pleading..

  • @MAJICB0B *you're

  • This is why I have stopped watching TV! These MSNBC anchors are like whores' being paid by their long legged mack daddy, Obama, to sit there and side with him lest they lose their cushy gig. Traitors!

  • "This was the Star Spangled Banner, not the pledge of allegiance" I can't believe these words came out of his mouth. Wait, I do believe it. Really Hussein Obama? I don't expect a Muslim Socialist to know the United States Code, 36 U.S.C. § 301. Least of all,

to feel any PATRIOTISM when he hears our National Anthem. Obama, you sir are a MORON!

  • that was on live tv.... look it up and do research... all his promises are lies. they were then and they are now, they always will be.. NO to a re-election of obama if you wanna vote for him then stay home before you totally destroy this country. no start with the name calling cause you know im right if you research and have no defense except childish name calling games. I truly feel sorry for this country and my kids future if a majority are like this. which they are or we wouldnt have obama
