screw honda, toyota makes a much better product in general and having owned a v6 rav4 let me tell u its FAST and good on highway mileage but not so much in the city. that might just be due to my lead food though... :)

I agreed what kenr79 said about Honda CR-V or Element. Why do I pay a little difference for getting a V4 engine from Honda and actually I can get a V6 from Toyota w/ the same gas mileage?

i didn't know that a family would want a vehicle with only 4 seats and a 4 cylinder engine that gets the same gas mileage or less than the rav4 269hp v6.
