One of the most frustrating things that can happen when you are bulding a project is finding out the parts you need are no longer available. This can usually bring the project to a screeching halt! But all is not lost because there is another option...and today on GearZ, Stacey walks you through the ins and outs of hunting for those elusive parts in a salvage yard. After that, it's back to the shop where Stacey shows you how to restore those old, rag-tag parts that you find. It's auto recycling at its best, and with today's economy, it's also a smart thing to do!

  • bfh..... BIG FUCKING HAMMER

  • @Pinups2Showboats YEP, using a good bag is better than carring a heavy tool box. anything to save weight when youre lugging tools aroung the yard. also for some reason i find what tool im looking for in a bag much faster than a toolbox?

  • I want to go there now! I saw a 280ZX same year as mine!

  • I've found that a heavy made shoulder bag works best to carry tools thru a yard. I use an old Mary-Kay cosmetics sales bag. They're a lot less akward to carry than tool boxes.

  • yeah good laugh :) good stuff

  • wish we had yards like that here in Australia, so many of the good yards were cleaned out and selt to the smelters years ago, especially if you're after early model stuff! Fine if you're after modern plastic rubbish!!!

  • Big thanks for the episodes, love the show!

  • HAHA a trusty BFH!

  • i hunted a prt off my nighbors car once lol i put 100 bucks on his seat and took the part lol lwft a note that said thanks
