Part 2 of our trip to Entech '08 in February. In this episode, we continue to run around and see as much as possible - highlights include a few new digital consoles / interfaces, (including a close-up look at both Midas and Euphonix) and some more of the faces behind the names in our industry.
Brings back memories for me.
I went to the Melbourne Entect proaudio shows in around 1997 I think it was, at Jeff's Shed. I think we went 3-days in a row. Loved it. They held a stadium subwoofer soundoff inside the convention centre, with the big manufacturers competing with each other on a main stage, with their big "slabs" of subwoofers. Amazing stuff.
Yamaha didn't fair very well with their outdoor subs clipping with disastrous results, so they shut if down. Apparently was software issues
