  • dude what happend to the ww2 paint

  • None of the Willys Jeeps i have were ww2, and I think you must be talking about the green one i had. That was a different jeep

  • Sounds like it's running great. Is it the condition of the tires that make you want to keep it under 30 MPH.

    My 48 CJ-2A just went through state inspection with flying colors....(-;

  • The tires are fine, its the ball joints and/or rack and pinion that are worn. The front end has a bad shimmy over 30mph. Ill fix the problems so i can drive a slightly normal speed (as normal as 45mph can be now adays.

  • Just the engine and some misc parts. Though, if the transmission or t-case go out on it, now i have spares.

  • its not uncommen. Alot of american cars try to kill us. Not much you can do about that. Gives them character.

  • Unless the steering linkage has been modified,start your shimmy search with the bellcrank. Any play will allow the toe on both wheels to vary as you drive causing the wheels to kick in and out.

  • gotta love the T90 and the Dana 18 combo is the tranny and transfer case out of the green willys too or just the motor?
