Nicks POV:
What happened? I need to know and I know miley wont talk to be about it because she always keeps things bottled up. I need to see her. I need to go to Tennessee
Nick walks downstairs to dinner
Denise: Nice of you to finally join us, Nicholas.
Kevin: Where have you been anyways?
Nick: I was upstairs playing guitar, sorry I didnt hear you call me down.
Joe: Write any new songs?
Nick: Nah, not yet. But I think I can get a new song sometime soon.
Kevin: Okay, we need one soon, I got us to play at Selenas end of the year party
(PS: Nick, Kevin and Joe are in a small band, they are NOT famous!)
Nick: What? I dont want to play at that
Kevin: Why?
Nick: Selenas obsessed with me, why would I want to play for her?
Kevin: Come on, man. Her dad knows big people.
Nick: Whatever, Ill think about it. Hey, wheres dad? *looks at Denise*
Denise: hes at Frankies baseball game. Then they are going to Apple Bees with Frankies team.
Nick: Oh okay. Mom I need to ask you something, important.
Denise: Yes? *worried* What is it, sweetie?
Nick: You know how Mileys in Tennessee and her grandfather is sick.
Denise: Yup, did he pass away? Aw, that poor girl.
Nick: No Mom he hasnt. But, she is really going through some tough times, and there is something going on between her family, and me and her that needs to be fixed.
Denise: Like What?
Nick: Demi told me there is a reason she is so close to her grandfather, and it seems pretty serious. I know she is going through a hard time, and it is even worse because Demi said they are really close.
Denise: Well, what is the reason?
Nick: I dont know, and I need to find out so I can help her. I love her too much to see her hurt, and I know you probably think Im way to young and it is too soon to love her, but mom I do. I really need to be with her, and I know you probably wont let--
Denise: Stop, your getting on a plane tomorrow. Dont worry about it, it will only be a week and school is ending soon anyways.
Nick: *surprised, but so happy* Mom? Are you kidding me? You would never let me do this!
Denise: I love Miley, you two have spent so much time together for the past week and a half, I have grown as close to her as you have. Well, not as a girlfriend, but as a daughter. If one of my kids is in trouble, they will get help, Nick.
Nick: *gets up and hugs his mom smiling* Mom, you are the best. I cant believe you trust me like this.
Denise: Youre the smartest out of the four of you! *laughs* I mean look at Joe
Joe: *flicking his pees in the air*
Nick: *laughs* But mom, how am I going to get a flight out to Tennessee by tomorrow?
Denise: Dont worry about that, uncle john is a pilot. You just go start packing.
Nick: What is the weather like over there?
Denise: just like here, its summer.
Nick: okay *walks up stairs and gets his suitcase out.*
Nick finishes packing and Denise comes upstairs to talk to him
Denise: *knocks on nicks door* Nick? Can I come in?
Nick: Come in
Denise: *looks at nicks empty closet* Nick, you really got packing *laughs and sits on his bed*
Nick: *smiles* Yea, Im just really excited about going. Well thats if I get a flight
Denise: I called Uncle John, hes got it all worked out. Your flight is at 7 so I should get you up around 4am because it will take an hour to get there.
Nick: *smiles* thanks mom.
Denise: *smiles* Your welcome, and please call me every night. Send a postcard, and make sure to get us all something *smiles*
Nick: I will *laughs*
Denise: wait, does Miley know you are coming?
Nick: *lying* Uh, Yeah of course!
Denise: Okay, well you better get some sleep because we have to leave early.
Nick: Okay, Im just going to say goodbye to joe and Kevin. When is Frankie and dad going to be home?
Denise: *looks at the clock* Oh my! Its already 8:30! Oh, and they should be home in fifteen minutes
Nick: Okay
Nick says goodbye to his family and goes to bed. Denise wakes him up in the morning and drives him to the airport. Nick got on his flight and landed five hours later. He got off his plane and figured out he doesnt have a ride to the Cyruss home.
Nick: *grabs his luggage and walks up to the car rental booth* Hello, Im kind of young, and I dont know if I can rent a car, but is there any way I can get a driver?
Betsy(worker): Well of course *smiles* Where are you heading?
Nick: I want to go to Crowley Meadows.
Besty: My oh my, *in a Tennessee accent* Ole Crowley Meadows, I grew up the next town over. You seeing a friend?
Nick: Yes, my girlfriends family.
Betsy: You came here alone?
Nick: YeahA problem?
Betsy: No, no of course not! Let me just call a driver and he will pick you up around front in a few minutes
Nick: Thank you *tips her and walks away
