Johnny Winter Live Fitzgerald's Club 1989

Shot on High 8mm from the balcony at Fitzgerald's Club in Houston, Tx. I captured about 30 minutes of the show. I was able to videotape many shows in the late 80's including L7, The Melvins, Charlie Musselwhite, Soundgarden, Sugar Shack to name a few. I shot stuff at several other venues as well, some at The Vatican, Axiom, Goats Head Soup, etc.

My girlfriends dad owns all the houses behind this club and I used to live in the house right behind it. Use to hang out with Jimmy and the guys from the surfhouse...(franky)

Good to see some old stuff from those days. I left in 1989 for L.A. and have lived in California and N.Y. since.

I miss Houston and the White Oak Bayou scene at Fitz.
