This is a stringskipping exercise using alternate picking, reminiscent of John Petrucci's 'Erotomania' solo. Slow and fast.

  • What's that guitar? and what amp are you using?

  • Its an Ibanez RG 620 QM (rare model, it has been in production for only a short while.) I put DiMarzio pickups in it, a Tonezone in the bridge and a paf pro in the neck. I play through a Marshall jcm 900 100w combo, no distortion pedal, and a boss digital delay 5 in the fx loop.

  • This is very good. You're quite talented.

  • Thanks dude, just watched a couple of your vids, you're pretty amazing yourself!

  • Strak man super gespeeld!

  • This kinda sounds like a paul gilbert riff. Very nice man. You rawk!

  • tabs?

  • really nice playing!

This reminds me very much of John Petrucci's Erotomania quintuplets :)

  • clear and clean, veeeery nice. I found by typing ibanez 620 to search, I'm kinda about to buy one, the blue and red finishes are awesome :>

  • Dang, that's clean, haha.

I have more trouble with alternate than I do with sweeping.
