if you want to make it even quicker add the vinegar and some salt at the beginning to your eggs.
also, never seen mayo made with a whole egg before, usually just the yolks are used, any reason for you doing this?

Thanks for the tip. I use whole eggs so I don't have to use up or waste the whites.

I have the electric wand too (broken food processor). I tried this about a month ago and it didnt work. I looked it up online & it said one egg--still didnt work.
For some reason it doesnt thicken up without the mustard. Finally, I found this video and presto! And its thick! I added fresh minced garlic, fresh basil, salt, pepper & crushed red peppers. Awesome!

Oh wow, my eyes are all big, that was like watching magic! LOL I need to get a hand mixer STAT! I been trying to do it via whisk and failing MISERABLEY lol
