That kid that died was trying to kill the bird with a club. I never heard of this creature until I came face to face with one recently. It was the most amazing creature I ever saw. I was all in her face taking photos - no aggression whatsoever. Maybe they DON'T enjoy being caged and abused?

More like he lingered for a little while and then died.

There are 221 recorded attacks from this bird, only one death out of all of them in 1926. The boy was kicked in the neck by one and he dropped dead.

They are just psycho birds, they like hyper aggressive all the time planning to attack something.
