The Actor who plays was GAY. The crew took the piss out of him about it and eventually he couldn't take it anymore and left the show. Bastards. As much as I love Jason, Billy SHOULD HAVE been the Gold Ranger. They ruined what could have been a decent storyline for Billy in the ZEO series.

"fag" ain't really a nice thing to say...David Yost(who played Billy) was gay and left the show due to producers constantly calling him a faggot and even making fun of his sexuality. Gay or not, David Yost is the best blue ranger ever.

@hajitwoface I don't if that's the reason he left but there was definitely some serious animosity when he quit. Supposedly he owns a restaurant in California and if you mention Power Rangers he'll kick you out.
