  • What do you think of our hydropnics starter kits? Do you think we should try and expand into other core realated hyro products.

  • @HerbalixPro What is your link to your Hydroponics starter kit? I'll take a look at it. :)

  • I started a hidroponic system inside the house with the cubes and a fluorescent grow light and plants grew very weak. I put all the nutrients, however plants grew weak.

Would it be the light? Any help. I love lettuce and want to grow it inside the apartment.

I wish I new how to help you. I started this system about a year ago and it was during the cold winter months. As you can see from watching my video I had some success, good success. But not the success I was really looking for. The PH level is important and needs to be check often and kept stable. Plants need lots of light. If the grow thin and look like they are reaching for the sky, they need light.

  • @mindy2215 The roots should be kept wet, but not soaked for any length of time. I tell you all this, but I am still learning myself. Some of my plants grew large, but did not really produce the Vegetables they never produce big enough to eat. My advice learn about the PH levil you need. Lettuce can grow in cooler temperature which is a plus.

If it makes any diffrence, I used a fluorescent Day light builb I purchased from Home Depot or lowes. I believe it was stronger than a fluorescent grow light builb. Make sure your fluorescent grow light is not the fluorescent used for fish tanks, They do not put out the type of light you need for hydroponics. .
