Hails to metalmania for posting this. I was just 18 when I bought this in 90. Yes thin sound, but just as brutal as any old school swedish death. Angel of Distress great song post next friend

The album has a thin sound, that's the main flaw. If you find or download the real thing somewhere, you can hear how awesome the material is, with the riffs, arrangements, everything, its heavy stuff, but the thin sound really kills the fun. Dan talked about how he wanted that sound Entombed did :), but his record company made him record at some studio called Montezumo, the guys had no clue what these guy wanted, lol. The songs are killer regardless, I'll post others tonight \m/

Montezumo ? Never heard

Well, I prefer the thick sound too, but the thinness has it privileges. This kind of production doesn't suppress and blure low tunes so badly as the buzzing sound with Sunlight production, allthough music lacks more "balls" due to thin production.
