The legendary ron Hardy playing the Musikbox 1986.This is the best hardy recording i have heard,not only for the sound quality but also the inovation and brilliance of his playing.I believe he was at the top of his game at this period,the hendrix of house music.This will be part 1 of 4,Enjoy.

For all you club and techno heads,take a listen to your father! House music was Gothic in chicago,it wasnt just all jazzy and bougie like quentin harris,monique bingham,style house,it was everything,it didnt stay in one category like today,Ron played heavy metal,disco,jazz,gospel,and a few rap instrumentals,but he tweeked it for dancing.He was experimental,not top 20 or commercial,yeah he played jocelyn brown.

Damn I miss Ron Hardy and the Muzic Box it's so weird to hear a lot of these recordings because I have the original taps and I remember being there. Does anyone remember the sound system at the Box? Chicago will always be the birth of House.
