True...That's why I like "Easy Thing" and "I Can't Stop the Rain" because they weren't like the rest of the album, and they were good songs.....BTW, when I said "they" I meant the label. I doubt Pete had any say so about the single choice.

  • Just to settle the lovers quarrel going on here, you are BOTH right. The car crash DID affect Peter's ability to play, but AFTER he recuperated, he was pulled off drumming altogether on the next 2 KISS albums, with the exception of Dirty Livin from Dynasty.......the reason? DRUGS!!!!!!

  • @JohnMagillM On September

  • @jfrey1 The solo albums didnt come out in 82 peter was out of the band in 1980, these solo albums were recorded after they filmed Phamtom Of The Park, Which is the time of the car wreck peter was in. And released oneptember 18th 1978, while he was still recovering from the accident. He had several busted bones in each hand, and one foot was several damaged. That's He wasnt drumming much if at all during that time period. And FYI I never said he was in a car crash in 1982

  • @JohnMagillM Other drummers are credited on the Let Me Rock You album too. That's the second time that he didn't play drums on his own album. He wasn't in a car crash in 1982.

  • @jfrey1 He didnt play drums cause he and their road manager were in a car crash, they were riding in the back and both were thrown through the windshield of the car. You try playing drums with two busted arms, it asint gonna happen.

  • For some reason I really love this album!

  • @Mopheadmusic2000 He didn't play drums on all the songs because he had a bad drug problem and didn't care as much about the record after he got turned down by Glyn Johns and Tom Dowd. Peter thought he was in the same musical company as those guys, but he just wasn't. If you listen to Easy Thing and I Can't Stop the Rain, they're not demanding on drums. I think he just didn't care. What other attitude could you have to be a drummer and not play drums on your own solo album?
