I actually like the pacing of this game. It gives it a very cinematic feel, though I realize that aspect might not be everyone's cup of tea.

The original game the story was based off of was also slow, A lot of the time you went thru several rooms/areas without a fight. So in keeping up with the gameplay style of the game franchise up to point of this game, yes its going to be slow and not House of the Dead frantic.

i disagree - this game needs a lot more love, the story development is brilliant and the voice acting also fantastic. I disagree also with what you said about the game being too slow - I really think that this builds the tension, and each cutscene is both entertaining and often creepy.

The only complaint I would have is that it is just too short- only ten chapters!! I completed the entire thing in under 7 hours :(

Not very long - I completed the story chapters in around about 6-7 hours, and it doesn't have much replay value. However various challenge stages can be unlocked too, and those are pretty fun to have a go at (especially with a friend) :)
