it also says that wearing a shirt made of two fibers is an abomination.

Our government should NOT tell us who we can and cannot marry. It stinks that we somehow can't seperate church from state!

There is this great Documentary on this subject called Fish Out of Water. It actually breaks down the bible passages about homosexuality. the Bible doesn't actually say anything specifically about same sex marriages. And Jesus never said anything about homosexuality at all anywhere in any version of the Bible.

And the Sodom story a father offers his daughters up for gang rape to a community to stop them from raping 2 men, and then the daughters get their father drunk, have sex with him, and get pregnant, and for some reason people use this to condemn homosexuality instead of rape or incest. This puzzles me...

Leviticus says something about man lying with man being an abomination, but it makes eating shell fish or pork a equal abomination to same sex relationships. it also says if someone is an adulterer they about be stoned to death and that all those things are an abomination- equally.
People tend to focus on the homosexuality part and ignore the rest.

There some passages that have been used to speak against homosexuality, but most of them still do not specify homosexuality is wrong. The 2 passages I hear mentioned most to talk about this are Leviticus and the Sodom and Gomorrah stories.

I am a gay man, and I am your tax preparer.
Whether Prop 8 passes or not, my husband and I will CONTINUE referring to our relationship as a MARRIAGE--in our home, in our church, and in public spaces.
Please don't spit on my marriage. IT'S NOT GOING AWAY.
Vote no on 8! To do otherwise is simply to anonymously throw a spitball at a fellow citizen. Your civics teacher taught you better!
