That was amazing !!! I`ve watch the whole serie... No way !!! I had a hard time on medium diff and You did it on SUPERHUMAN in just a little longer then one hour !!!!! SHITTTT I know You`ve made a load but not in a battle !!! Big thumb up for You !!!

I think it's adorable that you throw an explosive that will win the game when the turn ends, then take the time to move your soldier to safety.

Hmmm. Holding something in one hand decreases the accuracy of the gun in the other... not advisable.

I usually choose soldiers with high bravery, and sack the rest (letting them die in combat)... it wasn't speed run tactics material though.

Get laser weapons, and an eight man squad. Be tactical about everything! Check corners, and cover each other. Then it's really fun! :3

This speed run is actually kind of disappointing, you have a bunch of mods that make the game much easier. Tank mod, starting base layout mod, etc.
You should do this with vanilla, just the difficult fix enabled.

@Badhabitsjay Hrm actually the difficulty patch was the only fix applied...Did you watch from part 1, the base layout was remade from the default set up in the first couple of parts. And don't know which tank mods you are referring to...

I have yet to see a game as realistic as this one.You can have lots of armor and still die in one shot and when you die you die.your men panic like when they are the only ones left and I like that you can patch up people with a medikit and carry them back to your ship

thanks thanks. yeah they really manage to put A LOT into a game. very impressive and complex for something from the early 90s!!

Heya, question. Do your soldiers have less chance to panic/be controlled when you move them together in groups like you do?

hrm i highly doubt it. It seems like the game usually finds soldiers with the lowest Psi Defense.
BUT! I believe one requirement is that the aliens have to have you in the line of sight before they can mind control. It's because of this I try to kill them whenever possible.
This mission took a lot of reloading to get right though!
