  • thats where i learned to skate, any one remember sam, clayton ,bob wolf ,aldyne, howard russell, please contact me,carl fireman,

  • Great to see and hear the music....made me cry. Wow, what I'd give to live as close (walking distance) to a rink now!! I started there in 1956 and worked there so I could get in free, it was my second home. Didn't think back then it would become "the good old days."

  • Nice video! Well done!

  • I remember getting tamales at the snack bar. As I recall there were at least 11 ranks of 16' pedal pipes. What a monster. It was a novel idea to wind the entire chamber floor so you could tap into the wind supply anywhere in the chamber.

  • What memories! I started going to the Hub in the '70's just to listen to the organ. Freddie was very kind to me and I spent many, many evenings in the organloft and chamber. I will always remember that he and Lois would take a trip to Hawaii every year. He let me play the Wurlitzer when I was just beginning. After college, I had a job, for awhile playing at the Orbit rink. Later, I had several nights playing at the Elm as a substitute. Never again will there be such a tremendous rink!

  • I loved this music. I loved this place. So incredibly great to hear the music and see the place again.

  • I wish there was a blog for the Hub I nearly grew up there. I only lived a few blocks away
