After Spending the previous two years dabbling in everything from kiddie flicks (Jimmy the Boy Wonder) to rock'n'roll films (The Blast-Off Girls), HERSCHELL GORDON LEWIS finally returned to the horror genre in 1967 with A Taste Of Blood. Although back on familiar ground, A Taste Of Blood marked a departure for Lewis for several reasons: it dealt with a more traditional horror theme (vampirism), was a lot more character driven than the earlier, ground-breaking "Blood Trilogy," and had a running time of a whopping two hours! (The usual Lewis movie clocked in at just around 80 minutes.) - Something Weird
And it has Kristopher Leigh in it!! Cool!!

I liked this better than "a sampling of blood" but not more than "an all-you-can-eat buffet of blood".
