The hate is there because of how succesful Apple has been lately. They may not make the best spec'd products and yet they still sell 4 to 5 times the amounts of their competition. People claim they are overpriced, because they only care about what the products have inside them, they dont care about quality. Android has been experiencing problems from day 1 and although most are gone, they still have a few bugs. IMO Apple products are worth it b/c of how they do everything perfect as advertised

Mac OS and Windows is not the computers they are the OS...
With that said BSD, and Linux are better than the Mac OS...
BSD and Linux will run on any computer... Mac OS has no software worth having... all it has is apps, and you can get apps for any OS ever hear of Adobe AIR apps ?
The only software worth having that is only made for the Mac is Final Cut Pro ,and Why would I need that on my PC when I have the Adobe CS4 collection... You know the software used in the making of Avatar <<
