@sofine1980 Indeed. Lennon/McCartney were superb, Boyce/Hart were good, Nesmith was superb, Clark/Smith/Davidson were superb - the decade was truly opulent for quality rock music.

This lovely song "When" is so nostalgic for me. I always enjoyed the Dave Clark Five and think the film that featured this song is one of the most underrated of the 1960s. Barbara and Dave were so young...but then so was I when I first saw "Having a Wild Weekend." Thank you, dwaynepipe59.

This *was* released. I don't know if it was released in England in the '60s, but it can be found on Side Two of their American album 'Coast To Coast,' released in late 1964. It's also on the great 2-CD set 'History Of The Dave Clark Five' that came out in the 1990s.
