Thank you for the reply. As you can see in my video I used the PO85RD and the scratches did not come out. I will try a more aggressive compound next time.
After using compounds and heavier polishes (such as Menz Super Intensive Polish) to remove swirls and other imperfections in the paint, PO85RD is a wonderful polish to finish with on harder paints to really have the gloss, depth and wetness of the paint jump out. On softer paints, PO87 seems to work better for me. You would not use these polishes to correct marring or other imperfections, just to take the paint to another love appearance wise.
Slow your buffer down buddy! You want to run it between 1200 & 1800 rpm's.

What was your decision for going with the PO85RD - rather than some of their other products?
Thanks!

Is that even a RB ? Looks more like a DA.
How much RPM was it running at ?

All these videos of people working on hoods, while it takes much more concentration and skill to work in confined areas.
Regardless, excellent video.

Nice technique, just about to get a rotary myself and from what I've seen and read your technique is spot on.
