The idea is simple: If the sun extra-heat(caused by human emissions) will melt the ice in the polars, than we need to protect to polars, aren't we? We can protect them, by simply cover them with a shield. And what better, and cheaper shield than a reflective, white nylon. This will reflect the sunlight and the infrared light from the ice surface, which, will prevent from melting lakes to grow and let new snow layers to pack.

  • You're right, but, you know how much nylon dose the industries in the US are using? Beside that, it can stop the ice melting, which is a very important issue.
