Does this mixer have the same failure rate as the 16.4.2?

if i use this in live gig,will i still need to use external eq's for my 4 mix monitors or it already has the eq's with it in the 16.4 version?and do i still need to use a driverack px for the my main powered speakers?and how about in the 24.4 version?thanks.

@grouchy222 There isn't a production model from any manufacturer that meets the specs of the 24 ch obviously because it is wider than the 16.4.2. However, you can have a custom rack built for it if you want. There are a lot of companies out there who will make one for you if you send them the specs. I'm pretty sure no rack ears come with the 24.4.2 either because it is too wide for the standard slant rack. You might have to do a custom mounting job.

Rick, Is there a top mount slanted rack available available for the 24.4.2? We will be needing space for a couple power amps, CD player, wireless mikes and in-ear monitor systems. We really want this board!

I am so freaking bummed. i just got the 16.4.2 for christmas this past year. I could really use the extra channels. The 16.4.2 is simply awesome, so this must be over the top.

Im new 2 digital
I currently use 2 analog boards 1 for FOH & the other 4 Monitors. With digital do I need just 1 Board? What about the snake & plug-ins
If you have a digital board do you have 2 use powered speakers? Most my venue hold 500.
