@morderteufel He doesn't throw "casting punches", that horrible FightNerd video giving people false information. Firstly most of his strikes his thumb are to the sky or to the side in most of his flurries (watched lots in slow mo)... And for the others... Well... I have the Fedor MMA instructional book and the thumb down hooks aren't "casting punches", it goes through those strikes and they are entirely different from what FightNerd teaches everyone...

Arlovski is a very good fighter, an example for many, he lost because he made a mistake which Fedor never does. Both are excellent fighters.
