Well, Frank's work changed me. His work along with Eddie Harris' work and a handful of other musicians pushing the envelope of music evolution made me realize that this life is worth living.

Maybe Frank was in a bad mood in this interview. I used to be really cynical and it made me depressed too much, Since changing my outlook I find people to be nicer than I expected!

Great man. I already knew/thought most of these things...like all great men Zappa really isnt anything spectacular...it's often what makes them so great!

Hope for the best -- prepare /expect for the worst; Reality is usually somewhere in between. I don't see that as despair -- its just real life mental conditioning.
