@Hillbillydeluxe454, its all good. Comments welcome. Truely, no cold air intake except a completely blocked off ram air will block the heat. I'm a car mechanic and heavy guru. Off my bs mod and removing the stock air screen and removing the mufflers I had a 14 hp increase over stock dyno. Call it what you will. I was going for better fuel economy over anything else. I achieved it.

Can you tell me or upload a video of how you installed the 3.5 pipe ? I intend on doing the same thing to my 08 impala ss

@Jeremandre. Buy the 3.5" x 18" long rounded tips(equals to a 3" or 3.25" outlet) Simply have the muffler shop cut your mufflers off the car about 8 inches from the muffler. After that, they will have to weld a step up in place bc i think the impala only has at the most a 3" pipe. Then tell him where you want your tips to come out at and let him do the work. Any good shop shouldnt need instructions. tell them you want the this size tip and the mufflers cut off.

Nice.....were did u get the blue interior moldings at?
NORTHofCALI 4 months ago
@NORTHofCALI. I bought metallic blue match car paint and painted them myself. If you are going to do it yourself, get ready to sand your ass off by hand, a sander will screw it up. then spray light coats until you have the color you want. Then spray the match clear coat. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE CAN AND DONT DO IT IN COLD WEATHER.

@ultrared27. NO mufflers, the resonators and catalytic converter stayed but just pipe from there.
