My Little Debt Crisis [Poem]

The pressure mounts on Europe banks
As finance moguls meet to dance
The technocrat increases rank
And Greece has burned its money

The sovereign debt is from a shard
Of plastic called a credit card
This angler Merkel, cold and scarred
Do come and join the party

We like to spend the wealth of nations
Untie those boring regulations
Our dance can handle variations
We thinks its rather funny!

And when the bailiffs come to get
My little home, your clarionet
We'll pen another bouncing cheque
And ride a final ride of sweat
On the back of the money bunny

@twohawksfucking It's boyscouts of america. If you look to my right shoulder you'll see the american flag. I just had to buy it. It's an original, the size says 'LARGE CHILD' but when I bought it they said it was 'SMALL ADULT' LOL

An excellent piece, Large Child. I had a boyscout shirt I got at a thrift store. I used to wear it to work on occasion but had to stop. Let me just say, nobody has a sense of irony anymore. Don't you love it when people comment on what you are wearing more than the actual poem! This poem has a great point AND it's done with style. :)
