'LE DON DE L'ART' est un projet artistique et d'entraide pour les jeunes, les éducateurs et la communauté. C'est un projet conçu pour inspirer des groupes d'étudiants intéressés par l'art à conçevoir et peindre une murale (137cm x 162cm) sous la direction d'un éducateur selon un thème proposé par Peindre un Nouveau Monde (PNMW).

Le thème de cette année est 'Le rôle de l'art dans la société'.

Les écoles secondaires, primaires, collèges, centres d'apprentissage communautaires et toutes les organisations liées à l'éducation ou à l'art sont invités à participer.

Les objectifs du projet:

♥ Démontrer que les artistes ont le pouvoir de créer un changement positif et permanent dans leurs communautés et ailleurs dans le monde.

♥ Créer une murale et recevoir reconnaissance et récompenses pour les murales les plus réussies. Les récompenses seront remises le 4 mai 2011 au Centre Leonardo Da Vinci.

♥ Collaborer avec les commerçants pour amasser des fonds au bénéfice de projets culturels locaux et d'autres au niveau mondial.

♥ Fournir aux jeunes l'occasion de combiner la créativité artistique et leur engagement social.

The Gift of Art is an art and collaboration project for youth, educators and community. It's a project designed to inspire groups of students interested in art to design and paint a 54 x 64 in. mural with the guidance of an educator on a theme proposed by Painting a New World (PNMW).

The theme this year is "The role of Art in society".
Secondary & primary schools, colleges, community learning centers and all organizations related to education or art are welcome to participate.

The Project goals:

♥ Demonstrate that artists have the power to create positive and sustainable change in their communities and in the developing world.

♥ Create a mural and receive recognition and awards for the best murals. The awards will be presented on May 4th, 2011 at the Centre Leonardo Da Vinci.

♥ Collaborate with local merchants to raise funds for the benefit of community projects and others worldwide.

♥ Provide students with an opportunity to combine artistic creativity with social commitment.
