  • This movie is one of the greatest I watched growing up. When I watched this as a child, I felt so alive, as if I could have the world at my fingertips. It fueled my imagination and made me think that maybe all my wishes could come true, too. If you saw this movie when you were a kid, you'll know what I'm saying.

My heart aches for this generation of kids because they don't know what this feeling is like. All they want are cell phones/electronics/things that don't let you express yourself.

  • I've been looking for this movie for forever! It's like watching my childhood right before my eyes.

  • Louie sounds like Tek from Tarzan.

  • Thank you very much for uploading this gem.

  • He kinda sounds like Hogarth in the iron giant.

  • Drowning in tears!!!

  • @AMEwrestling "No one" played Captain Neweyes better than Walter Cronkite. My bad.

  • No played Captain Neweyes better than Walter Cronkite. He should done voice characters for cartoons from 1981 until his death in 2009. That would have been a perfect second career since CBS News forced him out of anchoring. He could have easily voiced Grandpa Longneck on Land Before Time, could have voiced Grandpa Simpson. Hell, he could have voiced Shadow in the movie Homeward Bound. Cronkite was a natural with Captain Neweyes. RIP Walter Cronkite.

  • @BehindTheProscenium Hahah why thank you and yes! I totally agree :)

  • @DontBlinkDontEven

Based off of your (extremely awesome) username, I'm assuming you mean Dr. Who. And yes, he does have similar traits to The Doctor, though not one of the newer ones (10th, 11th, and 12th), he's too mellow for them.

  • Does Captain Neweyes remind anyone of The Doctor?
