the winner is the University of Malaya (which is in Malaysia). The competition is in Singapore. There are universities from Canada, UK, China, Malaysia and Australia in this competition. Just that the language is in Chinese.
It is the same as the Worlds debating competition- it is between Universities from USA, Canada, UK etc, but the language is English.
English may be the most globalised language in the world, but it doesn't make it the only language that can be spoken intenationally
