This conversation is the reason Ashley & JP worked out. The lack of this conversation is also the reason why most Bachelor(ette) couples don't. Ashley and JP forced themselves to step out of the Bachelor Fantasy land and into reality before they committed to each other. SOmetimes I think that what Ashley's sis did was the best thing for them. They became rational, logical and questioned their relationship instead of just letting their heart lead them blindly.

@melissita1124 i agree..but i heard that the producers told her to let Ben say what he has to say through her microphone..So it was the producers fault they wanted BEn to propose to add to the DRAMA ..if u look carefully u wil lsee that Ashley was trying to stop him in the beginning..
