Adventure Village - Frost Valley YMCA Teen Adventures 2011

This small, specialty, village in platform tents combines the best of resident camp and adventure trips for an experience beyond comparison. Choose from multiple adventure-based activities from climbing the tower, canoeing, creek hikes, orienteering, mountain boarding, zip line, outdoor survival skills, giant swing, traditional sports, and natural art. Lunch and dinner can be in the dining hall, out on the trail, or around the campfire. In addition to these amazing opportunities, you'll still get to participate in resident camp favorites like Ultimate Sicko Ball, the dance, and waterfront.

The two-week session includes a 3-day mini-trip to local hot spots like the Shawangunks, Delaware Water Gap, or the Catskill Forest Preserve. On these journeys, you'll sample crew jobs like cooking and fire building. Climb, paddle, or hike your way to unforgettable exploits! Campers are assigned to tents/yurts by school grade and gender.
