man, i appreciate what you're doing here. once that beast is done, you're gunna have such a huge feeling of self worth and that bike is gunna be special. slacking off is cool too.. finish it whenever like i'm sure you will. the green paint looks pretty nice. keep up the slow-paced good work. i can also appreciate the fact that you're not just taking it to the bike shop and paying them to do it...you're dad is gunna think it's sweet i bet

Yeah the job can be done pretty quickly...of the months its gone on for me...naturally I don't sit around working on it...I simply can't afford to finish it right now...but when its done, I plan on keeping the fixed world updated ha.

(minus collage) the whole converting an old rusty 80's bike into a fixed gear and all the problems you've gone through to get that special feeling that you have DONE IT! this video was posted over 2 years ago now....i sure hope you didnt give up...i happen to have the exact same bike (just a 73' instead of 82') and i got it about a week ago.....i've had the same thoughts/problems you've had, but it's honestly upsetting to see that you didn't finish.

i'm glad i watched these videos before disassembling the bike...because i was starring at the bike for a while too wondering, 'how dee fook do you get this chain/pedal off?"

anyways, we all want video 6. get it done.
