I haul my family on my four wheel sail bike with groceries, lawn chairs and more. improvements: A small wood stove by our feet. A foamcore top. I believe we should reach out into our communities and spread love like a virus. If you are filled with love you have an abundance of energy and can make a life for yourself. Scale is a huge consideration. Less is more. Live with less. Time wasted working to make money for energy expenses takes away from Real Life Experiences. Live in a tree or boat.

You can haul groceries on a bike trailer, I have done it. As for the family bit, why dont people ride together as a family on 4 bikes. You can also get electric assist for hills.

only in relatively flat terrain. and again, you cant haul a family on a bike or a family's worth of groceries if there are meager inclines to climb. car are great, its the engine which needs overhauling, the rest of cars today are pretty sophisticated believe it or not. what we should be using to hold us over until a new fuel source, is using diesel hybrids and PARTLY biodiesel in the mix.

@Pimpmastahanhduece Im not sure about the sail, but bikes are used extensively in cities in Europe. Bikes are an answer to environmental concerns cars are not.

that thing only runs when the wind is blowing and no more than 90 degrees from the net wind direction. also this thing cant haul a family much less bumpers or something for collisions. theres affordable and practical in some circumstances, but its useless to people who live in valleys, in a city,or neighborhoods with lots of trees. the way to get something is to make it more profitable to be humane than cruel. technology advancement is the only thing that can realistically do that.not this thing
