  • My husband is Muslim and has never nor would ever try and force his daughter to wear hijab. I feel bad and am praying for all the girls and women who have to live around people like this girl's father, in places where this is a normal occurance.

  • I have met many Muslim women who don't wear hijab until they go to the masque. And they usually take them off when they leave. But most of those who wear the hijab, that I know, wear it because they choose to. I know a few women who told me that their father's were worried when they began wearing hijab. I know the point this child is trying to make, but taking off the hijab will prove nothing. There is a reason why women wear them that she obviously doesn't understand. Btw, I'm NOT Muslim.

  • @colombus66 because i believe it is the absolute truth, i just do not see what the point is of the challenge as it would be pointless. I am a muslim by my own choice, its hard but i do it because i believe truley it is right and when you find something like that you believe makes sense and is right you can either believe or be arrogant. (talking about me here btw)

  • Aksa was an uneducated teenager as well. If she truly knew the significance of hijab, and did not hang around manipulating individuals such as yourself, she would have had the respect for herself to wear it. Her father's actions were WITHOUT A DOUBT unethical and absolutely UN ISLAMIC and he deserve's the consequences. Islam does not force a woman to wear hiijab. THE HOLY QURAN CLARIFIES OVER AND OVER THAT WOMEN MUST BE MODEST IN THEIR DRESS CODE TO AVOID UNNECESSARY ATTENTION OF MEN!

  • No the hijab is not oppression, the hijab covers you modestly so that you don't go around wearing booty shorts and skimpy bikinis. When these girls are asked "Why do you dress like this?" They respond "It's merely for our one likeness and no one else's approval!" Obviously you don't want to wear hijab when you have the freedom to have your cleavage hang for men to see. The disturbing thing is you like it. Go look at the rate of pregnant teens and rape statistics in Canada. Filthy and uneducated!

  • you just pissed me off -___-

  • Your so wrong! GO DIE!! We are not gonna take it off u idiot!!!! Go die!

  • @foreverPalestineS2

So even if the only sources that you have encountered are sources that do portray women in general as dolls, that does not necessarily mean that there are not also numerous other sources (sources that you simply have not encountered) in which women (in general, or specific women) are portrayed, but are NOT portrayed as dolls.
