Here is a homework problem involving synthetic division. It is similar to polynomial division using long division but can be a quicker and easier way.

  • You should do a video on expanded synthetic division. So as not to be bounded by a divisor of just a-x.

  • @MrBluelock Thanks I'll take a look at it. Remember Synthetic Division is just shorthand for long division.

  • You'll probably see this is high school in your Junior or Senior year if you take that many years of math. You might see it in college depending what match you have to take and what school you'll attend. But you should see it in high school first.
